Speedliner Rear body protection and rust protection
We have recommended Speedliner to all our customers for the last 2 years. It is a fact that if you fit a cheap plastic liner in your new pick-up, you will dramatically reduce it's working life. This is due to the fact that often a plastic liner requires the steel body and tailgate to be drilled and screwed to fit the plastic liner. Secondly, water will collect between the truck bed and plastic liner - accelerating corrosion.

Over a period of time the plastic liner will move, vibrate and thus rub off the paint around the top outer edge of the pick-up and also on top of all the steel ribs in the bed area. So within 2 years of ownership, rust will be eating into your new pick-up truck. A plastic liner, although initially cheaper at around £200 + VAT fitted, is a sure way to erode the value and life of your truck.

With American Speedliner we will take your truck to our body shop - Classic Coachworks Tel:01733 552252 - where firstly the whole area of the bed will be rubbed down, special primer sprayed in before the Speedliner coating is applied, at approximately 3 - 5 mm thick.

Colour matched.
Another advantage is that the Speedliner is available in a wide variety of colours, so it will always look pleasing to the eye. Kevlar may be added to the mix for added strength for heavy duty applications. Speedliner may also be used for van floors, non-slip walkways or larger plant and machinery, horsebox floors or any other steel or solid surface that requires a hard wearing non slip surface.
